Hardship Scheme

The 'Hardship Scheme' is intended to enable Medical Card patients to obtain expensive Medication and Appliances that are not covered by the medical card.

Be aware that the Application form does ask for personal financial information.

Medications or Appliances being applied for must cost more than €20, to be eligible for this scheme.
